5 Dog Breeds That Are Easy To Train

One of the main consideration a family makes while considering a puppy is how well that dog will respond and behave in the household. Many criteria come into place for people with children or elderly members in the house especially someone who is new to the concept of owning a dog or potential owners who will not be able to spend enough time or attention towards the conditioning of the dog.

Certain breeds are definitely more people and command oriented as opposed to others because of their innate disposition to please their humans. Here are a few well-known Dog breeds that are are easy to train and have a good obedience rate with commands.

1. Labrador Retriever

One of the most populous breeds in the world, the Labrador Retriever is a gundog originating from Canada. This soft-mouthed retriever is being used across all fronts of dog employment today like tracking, sniffing, rescue and many more. 


2.  Poodle

Called ‘The Groomer’s Dog’ by many due to its highly attractive curly coat which leaves their styling open for imagination. One of the highest rated dogs when it comes to obedience and intelligence, the Poodle has a tendency to outsmart their owners at times too. 


3. German Shepherd

Many of the world’s defence and other services have been gratefully employing the talented German Shepherd Dog and we can most certainly agree upon them being the most preferred working dogs. Breed for herding and guarding sheep, they are now used by K-9 units and were also the most preferred breeds as war dogs in the World Wars and beyond. 


4. Rottweiler

 This ruthless breed of dog possesses arguably the strongest jaws in the domestic canine kingdom. This has resulted in them being at the receiving end of some bad press and a lot of misconceptions. Bred for guarding and accompanying butcher’s in Germany, the Rottweiler now enjoys the most multi-faceted supply system when it comes to human satisfaction. They can make good guard dogs as well as indoor dogs. Contrary to popular belief, they have such a loving temperament with kids that it wouldn’t be a shock to be trusting them as babysitters once in a while. 


5. Doberman Pinscher

Bred for the one of the more unique activities, the Dobermann Pinscher breed was developed to accompany Karl F.L Dobermann in collecting taxes as this job was one of the most dangerous ones at the time whee bandits and dacoits where a constant menace. This lean and slender breed is very agile, protective and one of the more healthier breeds of the lot. Being extremely loyal to their masters, they thrive on obeying commands and guarding their pack with their life on the line.
