The best time to start breeding survey will be when your shepherd dog is of age of at least 6 to 9 months. The first step is to look for VPG I which will analyze and testify the dog on many important aspects which are required for further testing. On the early age, hips and elbow (optional) radiology is recommended as it might expose important defects which could disqualify the dog for breeding survey. These tests on early age are preferred as these will provide timely information on making decision whether to go for breeding or not.

In cases, where the radiograph is showing the defects that could be mitigated will ensure timely information on puppy care information. Puppy care information is important as to make dog trained on line for breeding survey. Moreover, the dog training is important to make dog prepared for VPG and conformation judge recommendations. In some cases, the conformation judge could make demanding tasks for dog to prove its suitability and evaluation structure to pass breeding tests.

Dog’s training is much important in order to enhance the stamina of the dog to complete more than twelve miles running and to increase the sensibility of dog on track and obey commands. The understanding of the commands is important for dog and must be ensured in training of the dog. The training would involve steps that are involved in breeding survey so that dog is already prepared and must not show hesitation in obeying commands and understanding commands.

In order to know what happened on breeding survey with the training dogs. We are going to list some important steps that are essentially required on breeding survey. Please ensure that you and dog is ready to provide results on the following.

1.    &nbs p; Dog should have VPG Title such as VPG I

2.    &nbs p; Tattoo preferably on right ear. It could be on other place but should be apparent

3.    &nbs p; Evidence on passing hips passable. Elbow passable would become added value but is not required.

4.    &nbs p; AD test passed. AD test is the running compatibility test in which dog have to ensure that it can run more than twelve miles.

5.    &nbs p; SV pedigree i.e. radiographs at age of one year

6.    &nbs p; A show card rating of at least ‘G’ means “Good”

7.    &nbs p; Evidence of membership in one of the international organization.

The order of the tests at breeding survey might vary. The dogs have to pass protection test as well which is mostly similar to the VPG certification or title. In the breed survey, the probability that your dog could fail becomes more due the reason that scenarios changes here and dog has little warm ups. So in order to make dogs perfect on these changed scenarios of breeding survey, you must have good exercise of the dog. This is similar to take care of the newborn puppies of the pink papered parents with their names KKL1 and KKL2 so that you are sure that dog you keeping are from the breed parents.

Failing on protection test might make dog failed for breeding survey or it could be offered the name with KKL2 which means that dog is not fully recommended for breeding.

The judges issue the breed survey reports in which different measurements of the dog are mentioned. For this, dog holder and dog have to visit a place where the scales are present. Judge takes different measure like measurements on chest and other parts of the body and writes down the information on breeding card.

There is also a gunshot test in which the dog and dog holder are running in a round ring and judge is standing at the middle of the ring. He/she fires gunshot and observes whether dog is attending the sound or not, whether dog is showing neutrality or not.
