Budweiser’s new digital only ad campaign uses a simple yet effective medium of a four legged furry friend to propagate that it is never worth it to get behind a wheel especially if one has been drinking.

The video, which is already crossing 7 million views on YouTube is absolutely adorable and gives a gentle reminder to people that drunk driving, which claims many a lives every year is a problem that has a simple solution, that can be put to an end with ease.

The video starts with a man welcoming home a cuddly adorable golden labrador retriever. The love unfolds in a series of moments - car rides, playing with ball, wet nose wake up calls, bbq with friends and summer swims. Then the video shows the guy heading out with his friends for a night of fun and drinking, with Budweisers in tow. The dog, left alone worries and waits for his beloved friend to come back, but the night passes.

The morning brings a heartwarming scene, where the man returns home and tells his furry mate that he was drinking and therefore did not think it was worth driving back. The creators of the new ad have added an emotional tone to the add along with the hashtag #friendsarewaiting, a reminder about who suffers when people drink and drive.
