Dog Training

Posted in Obedience Training | By: Biju. G | 29 Nov 2008 1:16 pm

Hi,

I have a 6 month old Rottweiler puppy. She has been trained well. But the only problem is she listens to every command inside the house. Once she is taken out she does not concentrate on our commands.  How can I rectify this problem.

The first thing that any one must do is to get the dogs attention. going outside is a large distraction for her and she is focused on everything but you. How do you get dog attention? you find what ever it is that your dog likes and show it to him/her. I use food for my dogs... once my dog knows i have the food, it pays attention to me and everything in the world dissapears... you need to find that, get that and then you may train outside or with distractions. good luck.
