how far is it true that vaccination should be stopped for older dogs

I have read and heard that vaccination should be stopped once the dog reaches 10yrs. Is it true?

There is no age for a dog to get Rabies,distemper & parvovirus & other deadly desieses so my dear friend vaccinate your dog till he is alive for his own good health.
