Hyderabad Boys Burn 3 Pups Alive!

21 Jul 2016 | by Deepshikha Tahiliani | Posted in: Wag News

Another incident that’s proves people have no compassion left towards animals. A couple of guys burnt 3 pups alive, recorded the entire act and uploaded on Facebook. The incident took place at Vazir graveyard located near Ek Minar Mosque in Musheerabad area of Hyderabad. It took place on 16th July, but was noticed when the clip was uploaded on the social network.

Within a few hours of upload, the clip went viral. A complaint was registered by some of the animal rights activists in Musheerabad police station. It is certainly saddening to see this three-minute video, which breaks our heart. The video shows 5 boys burning 3 puppies alive into the fire made from burning garbage and wood. What is furthermore disheartening is that when the pups tried to come out of the fire screaming, the boys pushed them back using sticks. The unsympathetic and ruthless boys waited there till the pooches were burnt entirely.

As of now, the police are investigating the case and trying to identify the people involved in the same. There is no doubt that the 5 boys were quite satisfied with such insensitive act. Sadly, these persons will get away with a minor fine and no major punishment will be given to them.

What’s upsetting is that these kinds of acts seem to be increasing day by day. A couple of weeks ago, two medical students threw a pup from the roof top. Thankfully the dog survived, but faced fractured legs.

We wish that these 5 boys get caught soon. Also, we urge and request the government to revise the fine and punishments of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. It is highly important to stand with them who can’t voice themselves.
