Eligibility Criteria

Aquarium categories eligible for participation in the contest:

• Freshwater tropical aquariums (Community, Biotopic, Planted).
• Saltwater/reef aquariums.
• Aqua terrariums.

Each participant must give at least a minimum amount of information regarding his aquarium. This should be:

• Name and locations of the participant.
• Fresh (Community, Biotopic, Planted) or Saltwater/reef.
• Volume of tank.
• Names and number of fish in the tank.
• Name and number of plants in the tank.
• Kind of technical equipment used filter – external, internal, gravel, air driven,
  • Lamps- lighting, skimmer,
  • C02 Supply for planted aquariums.
• Decoration elements (stones type, wood/roots, shells).
• Kind of substrate (size, type, colour).
• Time passed from initial aquarium setup (aquarium age).

Requirements:

• Two photographs of the contestant's aquarium 1 front view and 1 side view
• The photographs must be of post card size (3.5" × 5.0" ) and of 300 dpi pixels
• Last day for entries is 30th November 2010
• 60 entries with pre-evaluation will proceed to the semi final
• 15 finalists will be announced on or before 01 January 2011
• 15 finalist will be informed by sms and email

On site contest details:

• 100 lts tank will be given on 20 Jan by 2PM
• Each participant will be responsible for their tank. In the unlikely event any damage occurs to the tank the cost will be born by the participants
• All 15 parts will receive certificates
• One hour lecture by Mr. Nicolas Platis – Sera 
• Each finalist must bring their own material for display
• Each finalist will setup and present his aquarium for the final judgement

Prizes:

• Three winners will be declared and will receive the following prizes or gift vouchers for equivalent amount.
• First prize – 130 liters complete aquarium set by SERA.
• Second prize – 130 liters complete aquarium set by SERA.
• Third prize – 60 liters complete aquarium set by SERA.
• All 15 contestants will receive assured gifts.

Registration Fee:

• Rs. 1500.00
• Payment details: Payment to be made in favour of Creature Companion by Cheque (multi city) / DD payable Noida OR bank transfer
