Don’t you just love when you dog get all cuddly with you on your bed? But sadly you have to push him down cause’ no space. Well, this problem was solved for the Chris Hughes and Mariesa from Clifton Park, New York. This couple runs a senior dog rescue organization, and calls it Mr. Mo Project. They love to cuddle with their 8 dogs. Hence, Chris posted an ad on Thumbtack which mentioned that he needed a bed that fits the couple and their eight dogs, Mabel, Gremlin, Tejas, Money, Meatball, Quinn, Sam and the Stig.

Mike Ford, who is a service technician, owns a handcrafted furniture business as well in Feura Bush, New York. He responded to the ad posted by Chris. Ford mentioned saying, “I’m a dog lover myself and I absolutely love senior dogs. When they approached me about the project we had just put down our senior dog Bailey about five months ago, so this really struck a chord.”

Hughes has been married to Mariesa for three years now. Ford added, “They [Mariesa and Chris] came up with the idea of putting two beds together and, after looking at different arrangements, I came up with the idea of how to position them in a way together that really worked.”

The super-king sized bed took about 4 weeks to be finished. This one has ample of space for the dogs and the couple. The cherry wood makes the bed appear to be appealing and strong. The 14-foot bed has drawers for extra storage and a little staircase so that the furballs don’t have any kind of difficulty in climbing up on the bed.

We love the devotion and perseverance of the couple and the love they have for their dogs. We wish there were more people like Hughes who didn’t see any problems sharing bed with their pooches.
