Ugly hair, hairless bodies and distorted faces. No, we are not trying to degrade anyone. We are introducing the world's most ugliest dog.
“Peanut” earned himself the title of the worlds most ugliest dog of 2014 at the Sonoma-Marin Fair on Friday June 2014 in Petaluma, California. His competitors were dogs that had unusual generic looks, unusually large faces, hairless bodies and other oddities. These dogs were judged by 3 people and were examined in several categories including special or unusual attributes or natural ugliness.
Peanut is a two year old mutt that has wild white and brown hair, bulging eyes and protruding teeth. Apart from being eligible for the ‘ugly’ competition, he is also a very charming and energetic personality.
He is owned by Holly Chandelier (26) of Greenville, North Carolina who says that she wants to use this prize money to pay for other pets veterinary bills. She also mentioned in one of her interviews that Peanut was seriously burned as a puppy and she wants to use him to raise awareness about animal abuse.
There are millions of dogs in the world that are fortunate enough to survive an abuse in the childhood and are raised by kind people like Holly.
If you know some stories of animal abuse survivor dogs, then you can share your stories with us.
