HOW PARVO VIRUS GET IN TO THE BODY OF DOG?

The contaminated faeces is the source of infection. When facesis ingested in mouth virus penetrates the tonsils. And then via lymph and blood reaches, lining of the  intestine of dog , in the bone marrow , spleen and lymph nodes . The result is pain in stomach, vomiting, diarrhoea with blood and sometimes fever. The young puppies below 16 weeks of age are most susceptible. The veterinary interventions can save the sick dogs. The recovered dogs develop the life long immunity . The virus, canine parvo virus, can survive out side body for six months. It is resistant to soap , washing powder  but not to chlorine bleach .
