My next door neighbours kid used to get a little agitated when my 5 month Lab barked at them .Now they have got a great dane.I have practically grown up having dogs in my house where as this is the first time my neighbour has got a pup.
The poor pup is just 50 days old and has a leash as heavy as he is !
Yesterday my hubby saw him eating his own poop.
We are cordial but not very pally with the neighbours
Please let me know how I can advise them not to tie such a small puppy without being preposterous

hai iam having 9 months old gsd when iam talking walk its behave very agressive when he seems animals.but in all matters it is cool.he hears what we say.how can i stop that manners agressive on animals pls suggest.

My two month old Shih Tzu puppy went for a regular checkup to the CGS hospital in Gurgaon and he was a perfectly healthy puppy. The vets used an implement to groom him which made him go into a state of shock and he ultimately died of a cardiac arrest. The hospital took responsibilty for his death and offered another Shih Tzu pup as so called 'compensation'. Do you think it is necessary to take action against this hospital for it's negligence that cost us a member of our family?

As a person, I do believe that negligence can be forgiven in several professions but in the medical profession, when there are lives at stake, negligence is simply unforgivable.
I also wanted to ask if there is any forum to publicize this story and make people aware of the kind of poor handling done at that hospital so as to prevent other horrible incidents such as this from happening again?

I live in burari area.There are lots of stray animals here.I have been feeding a bitch who has reecently gave birth to five puppies.Yesterday i saw one of them was in bad state and i didnt know what to do because we dont have any Vet nearby.So please help and let me know if there is any NGo who runs a Dog shelter near burari.It breaks my heart to think that those puppies are going to die soon if not given proper care soon.

I had adopted a dog (female) from my locality. The dog is 3 years old (when adopted), spayed, vaccinated and dewormed by me. Initially since she was not used to the leash, we used to let him loose but for the past month, she is getting used to the leash. Suddenly a couple of my society members have started having problems (don't know what) and they want us to go out the society which I feel is very wrong.
Please let me know if there is any legal or any other way to prevent this kind of harrassment, as I feel that it is equivalent to cruelty to the dog.
I am staying in Pune. Please, if any NGOs are there in Pune who can help me out.

There are about 30 stray dogs in DLF Phase 3, V Block itself. People feed the stray dogs, which is a good thing. But these dogs inturn, run after cars, people who go for their walks and at times even bite at press guys who come to collect clothes for press, garbage guy who collectes garbage from our V Block, paper wala who throws their morning paper. So for their own safety, vendors hit the strays with sticks wounding them badly. Can any thing be done about it.

Hello all Dog lovers i need advise and help urgently, I have a 7 month old German Shepherd(Sherdil) he lives with me in my flat in dwarka my house's entrance has two doors one is the wooden one and the other is an iron one(grill with mesh),during evening and morning when the weather is nice i open my wooden door while keeping the iron door securely locked so as to get some fresh air all the people in my block are well aware that i have a dog but recently a person who lives 2 floors above me is fighting with me a lot and asking me to keep the wooden door closed because my dog barks at him(and other people) when they are climbing the stairs that are in front of my gate(which barely takes a few seconds) matters have escalated to a very big level.I want to know what are my rights in this case and if the other person is wrong what can i do to stop him and if i am wrong should i do as he says or should i do something else plz help people i cant close the door and i need to stop this person(i am 90% sure he is wrong)can peta intervene?? if yes plz provide nos.

in kavali (nellore district,andhrapradesh) municipal people killed dogs by lethal injections.
some people taking personal vengence by killing dogs of their neighbours.
please do some thing to stop this menace.

Would like NGOs/AWBI based at the location to do the needful if possible.

I have a 17 month old Finnish Spitz and he lives with me in our Ten Block Society at Hyderabad.
I am facing a problem with some of the neighbours who object to the pet doing his daily routines on a road which is very close to the balconies of one of the blocks. They insist I should walk him over to the main road which is full of street dogs that come and attack me and my Dog. In the process my pet is too scared to come on to the road.
I strongly feel that all societies need to have a pet park for the pets in the society. Is there any rule in this regard?
