My 10 yr old Labrador female (Bulbul) is suffering from epilepsy.
I have noticed fits around one/twice a year.
Is there any treatment for epilepsy?? Her vet has recommended phenobarbitone (60mg) for her, but that is just a sedative, and I don't want to keep he sedated all the time.
And also, what are the precautions that I should take?

Our 8 month old rottweiler girl was diagnosed with Babesia Gibsoni sometime back. She is getting treated by Dr. Ajay Sood. I read on the internet that dogs who have suffered a babesia infection should not be bred further. Is this correct? Also, can someone advise if she has the correct skeletal development if I post pictures? Am especially concerned with front legs, pasterns, paws or whatever we may choose to call them. We have been told she is normal. She was much appreciated at shows in January and February. She is also losing coat and skin conditioning. She has beginning of bald patches on the elbows. Is all this due to heat? We keep her in an air-conditioned environment. We feed her addiction and solid gold when they are available and royal canin when they aren't. She also gets lots of vegetables, eggs, tonics, supplements on a daily basis.

Hi everyone
Today I am very sad because my 4 months old lab puppy died yesterday. I am not able to understand what exactly happened to him as he was quite well and healthy, he starts vomiting 3-4 days back and the problem grown bigger day by day, later loose motions started then bleeding started in motions and vomit. I was taking him to vet. 2times in a day from last three four days, spent whatever the vet demands but no use......atlast he died before me and my wife's eyes and we were not able to save him. In last two days he suffered too much that I have no words to explain, Me and my wife can never forget his last few hours with us. Doctor told me that this was an gastric virus infection and given treatment for the same can anyone told me that this infection is so severe that it can cause death, although all the possible treatment was given??
Today we are so heart broken that we are not interested to adopt any dog as we could not save our little Jhonie......

My 2.5 month old gsd puppy was showing froth coming from the mouth today morning.
I have started feeding Liv52 a day ago and scheduled for 3 days from 1st day of starting. As after 3rd day planned Deworming and then rabies shot. Today I cleaned her space with dettol and washed with fresh water, though some water left at a pothole.
I have 4 doubts.
1. She might licked the dettol washed water from pothole in the floor.
2. Due to worms at her stomach.
3. Hot weather.
4. Rabies.
She is no more giving any froth from mouth now.
Please let me clear my doubts regarding this issue and probability and symptoms of rabies.

It's really a sad thing that in my town a disease names has Parvo has spread among dogs and 9 out of 10 puppies of ours(desi puppies) perished in it. one is remaining. he was given drips for 15 days and now he is just okai. we are giving him liv 52,minerals,vitamins syrups as prescribed by doctors.it\'s a disease which was really lethal as all my puppies died with vomiting and even doctors said that fatality chances are really high. it was really disheartening to see all my loved ones dies. now with god grace the last one is doing fine. i need some help from expert people here. what should be given to eat to the puppy(3 month old). we are giving him glucose ,electrolyte and paneer. any other help would also be highly appreciated.
