Dogs Travel - Dog Forum

Has anybody travelled to Nepal with their Dogs via road.
Well my entire family is shifting to Kathmandu for a period of 5 years and thus we need to take our dog (as well as our parrot) along with us. Anybody has experience??Though we often criss-cross the borders casually between India and Nepal but still I would like to be prepared for legal stuff if it may chance.

i will b traveling with my 6month poochie nd I've my 1st ac tickets booked 2 seats coz i want a coup.but one seat is not confirmed (WL1),wat are the chances of it being confirmed (DOJ- 22/may/2012).now am getting confused what to do?he is very young for a dog box,how can i take him along without other passengrs makin a fuss?

My puppy is housetrained, however I would like to have some large pee pads for him as we are planning a trip. The only one I could find is quite small. Does anyone know from where I can buy some decent large ones in India?

Hi,
Need help to find hotels that allow dogs in Gwalior, Jhansi or Sagar. I'm driving my (2 biggish) dogs from Dehradun to Bhilai and will need to break my journey overnight around these locations. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

hello friends
dis is debbie. i am planning to move to usa or canada next year and i have a 2 yr old gsd. i dont want to leave it alone. i want to take my dog along with me. checked with the airlines rules and all it says u can carry ur dog along with cargo which is quite scary for me. however some airlines allow service dogs and comfort animals in the passenger cabin. i stay in kolkata and wud like to know how to make my dog a service dog or comfort dog. any suggestion wud be highly appreciated.
