i hv a 4 yrs lab female.. she sheds hair v mch... i stay in a flat so its really a problem now... she has no dandruff problem or any skin disease... i regularly take her to vet. he gives one injection and Glofurr syrup.. bt its not working at alll.. pls suggest me something

Pennypup,

we have tapped its ear last week using the cold drink strow on its back of the ear glueing the same and there is noticable improvement.

About your question regarding the problem in it parents, there is no such probem in its parents neither in its litter.

As we have tapped its ear the hair from its ear is gone is it the concern or the same will be recovered? if yes how much time will it take.

for your information Father is V - rated in 2010 and the mother is indian champian in 2010.

hi friends my gsd(2.5month) female has bald spots on the both side of her mouth.they are not red & dosnt itch too.Is there any prob why they appear please advise me . I am taking her to vet 2marrow morning.please reply.

My 7 months old lab is suffering from heavy dandruff especially on tails .He smells very bad , bad odour is coming from him with rough & dry skin .In the morning i give him Canobites .In afternoon & night rice & curd .
Can you pls help me how to control dandruff & bad smell .Also do I am feeding anything wrong to him ...

Pls help me .

my 3 months old GSD pup has started scratching herself on and off , on the thighs , neck , ears and legs, she started this problem recently, please advice what to do to to stop that , she's a long coat and i bathe her once a month , and i groom her once in 2 days , she's on home made food , but she has been on it from 1 and a half months and was all fine till now , please help !

i have a 3 months old female German shepherd pup, she has developed a small bald patch just below her right eye the hairs in that patch r gone , please suggest is that thing natural will the hairs grow back or do i have to take her to the vet for that, or is there some antiseptic cream or something that i need to use on it , apart from it she doesn't have that problem anywhere else on her body and she is completely healthy , hoping for some kind advice.

hello every one, i have German shepherd 11 months old and recently skin become dull and smells bad. I bath my dog with procott shampoo once a week but this problem is continous. and i figure some small tumour like things around all body and what i have to do

I own a 9 month old labrador. There are some rice grain size swelling in the shoulder (for more specefic I use shoulder) area of both forelimbs and near the joints of both the hind limbs. Three or four such small swellings combined to form a round wound on the hind limbs. There is no itching at all. I have given LIXEN PALTAB 600 mg one course (7 nos x 7 days) alongwith WYSALONE 10mg tabs 6 nos in 3 days. The posotion still continues. Please help me.

Hello friends, i notice heavy shedding in my 6 month old labrador.Is this seasonal? Ive started feeding him 'Nutri-coat'-2.5 ml,two times. Ive started using PetHex shampoo. I brush him daily but still find a lot fur everwhere.

Hi Guys,
I used Petcare's NOTIX forte Carbaryl dust on my 4 month old itching Lab. The results are encouraging. Though, itching is not gone for ever, it has reduced considerably. He seems to get less irritated then before and has not chased his tail since application.
Has anyone else also used this product? Has anyone noticed any side-effect?
If this continue to lay good results can I put off applying RIDD. I feel it's to early to sbject 4 month old puppy to the chemicals.

Hi, my dog's vet has recommended Petcare's RIDD for my 4 months old Labrador puppy's itching problem. I want to know how it can be effectively used on my puppy. The vet has suggested to dilute 2ml in one litre water and then apply the solution thorougly on the body. The bathing to be done before application of the solution.

Hi, I have a Rottweiler, he is 28 months old and he has wounds on his front and rear knees and he bleeds sometimes. I apply turmeric power or betnovate cream but after sometime he bleeds again and also his black hair is turning into brown this is 2nd time which has happend to him. Please suggest me a medicine.

My Great Dane 'spartan' is 7 month old. He is having patches on his skin. I took him 2 vet he gave me shampoo pethex, hmpthy tab skinex p but he is not getting cured.
Please give solution!

My 3year old Great Dane male is suffering from skin allergy and hair fall for the past 2 weeks.I consulted a vet he gave a ivermectin injection and some tablets. He recovered from allergy a week ago but caught it again.
Can anybody help me please?

Hello Pet lovers,
Having a little problem with my male GSD. This guy has been scratching himself last few months - this has been an on and off occurrence. We have got him treated with the vet but nothing seems to work. I would like to get him tested for allergies and would also like to know where is the pet allergy clinic in Bangalore, India.
Plus, it would be great if someone can recommend me a good dog grooming place in Bangalore.

Help Needed! Fast guys! I noticed some Ticks on my 9 month old gsd pup and I noticed some on walls of the rooms too what is the cure for the mites? and one suffered from it :? they look like small spider type abit of dark red in colour. will be great if someone can help!

Hi, I have a 3 month boxer puppy, she has developed a small rash on his chest area and hind legs. its a little scaly and pinkish. She itches it a lot during the day and sometimes during the night too. I took her to my vet and he prescription is some anti allergy syrup. but advised against antibiotics and any harsh meds as she said it will stunt the Pup's growth. And asked me to check in within ten days to a week if it worsens. She mentioned that it was maybe the shedding of the puppy coat, im presuming like cradel cap in children or something, and hence will pass away. I am extermly worried as she said it may be fungal too andIi understand that these are very difficult to cure. please advise me on what I should do as I do not want to have her suffer. Thank's she also prescription a medicated shampoo to be diluted with 5 time waster a used on pup or 15 min once a week.
