Boarding of dogs in most of the places are just for moneysake. They will never care for the dogs at all. They will have ticks and fleas after you get it if you are going for a long trip for >7days.You need to check the boarding facility first before you leave the dog.whats your dog's age?

In every sphere of life, there are good bad and ugly. Dog business is no exception. If you are planning to put a dog in a boarding, then talk to your local dog owners, as they may suggest a proper kennel. Before keeping your dog, have a visit to the kennel and see how the dogs are kept.

Then your dog is a matured one i guess. Try to keep him with your relatives 80% of the time when you go outstation, only 20% use the boarding only when your friends or other known ones recommend one of the best kennel. But still it is too risk involved cos you will be signing a form where you have to sign for them even if something happen to your dog in boarding then they wont be responsible at all. So try to think 100 times before take a decision for boarding. Best of Luck for that. Also even if you find a kennel for boarding. Try to update this thread after you come so we will know how did they keep it.
