Could I get some advice for a first time dog keeper like me?

Hi everyone!!!!! I have never had a dog before. Now I am very keen to keep one. I am contemplating a labrador or a lhasa apso as I have interacted a lot with these breeds at my friends place. Could I get some advice as to which of the above two would be better for a first time dog keeper like me?

Hi arun,

Excellent thought, never buy a puppy from a pet store, veterinary doctor or a backyard breeder. Read this blog http://woofindia.wordpress.com . Post your query there and he will help you. Best guy in India.

take care

Arun. I would also suggest that you consider other factors before getting a pup. The size of your house, the time you can devote to your dog, the amount of exercise that the dog would need and is that feasible for you are the basic factors you need to think of. I have a Labrador and they need a lot of exercise. If you can spare that time then its a fantastic breed to own.
