I like the dog and plan to take it, how do i get the papers done for this dog ?

Hi, I got a contact of a person in bangalore, willing to sell his 3 month old GSD, which he says he bought it from a breeder for 8500/- without papers :P.. He is now owning a pug, a GSD and a napoleon mastiff (gifted by his sister).. He wants to part with the GSD because he wants only 2 pets at the moment. He doesnt have any contact details of the breeder for him to get the papers of the GSD now, and he says that was his first purchase of a pet dog and might have been dupes !! He was very frank and open in telling me the dog was not potty trained but now it shits regularly at few places and the freq reduced.. In case i like the dog and plan to take it, how do i get the papers done for this dog ? will it be ok to have it without papers ? I plan to have the dog and breed it with good females in the future (only my wish).. I was thinking papers will be required and can help a lot at that time. Is my thinking right ? And the cost he is quoting for this dog is 4000/- .. is it reasonable ? Can I take it if I am satisfied with the dog ? How do i check the behaviour of the pup and decide ? plez guide me guys !

Hey .. i bought the GSD today.. from the same guy, and bought it for 3800/- ... shown it to the vet near BSK, and he says its a little weak but not aneamic... it requires more calcium and more food :).. i m gnna feed him like hell now !! he he he

He listens to us a little and right now after the vaccinations and deworming, he has become sedate, not eating anything.. only sleeps !! is this any sort of reaction against those injections ?

Yes , price is reasonable but quality varies as he didn't have pedigree details. You can register it via KCI as unknown parentage details and get approved via appointed KCI member there is some cost for it check KCi website Tarrif section - www.thekci.org but in future maybe reputed bitch owners won't mate with your dog dueto pedigree. If you want to help the dog and delight him with a new home go for it - they always deserve a sweet one.

Excellent thought, never buy a puppy from a pet store, veterinary doctor or a backyard breeder. Read this blog http://woofindia.wordpress.com . Post your query there and he will help you. Best guy in India.

take care
