hello friends....i have months old lab.....he is not at all drinking water regularly i used to keep him bowl of clean water always but he never drinks it....whenever i give him food i used to mix water with it at that time only he will drink.....what should i do for this
he is not chewing the food while eating.....eg: i give him carrot he swallow the entire carrot without chewing and it came out when he poop......experts pls advice......

i had also faced the same thing with my lab, when i brought my lab he was merely 18 days old and i used feed him cerelac and whenever i used give him plane water he simply refused to drink it..but as the summers arrived i started to drank water.So, no need to worry if you are feeding him a liquid based food as becoz this liquid will fulfill his water needs and i m sure he will also start to drink water in coming summers...
Next thing that as you are telling he simply swallows carrot without chewing, dogs stomach has some enzymes that grabs nutrition from without digesting it completely that's why your dog poops out carrot as it is, at the age of one month a puppy doesn't know how to chew but later when you will include some solid food in his diet then he will also starts to chew.(to improve his chewing you can give him bone{soya bean bones}available at every vet medicine shop). I hope this will help you a lot and no need to worry my friend all these things are normal.:)

Try to mix Yogurt/Curd or glucose in water, he will drink.

@Vignesh,
If you really want him drink water just add 2-3 pinch of cerelac in warm water and give him that water to drink. He will once smell it and then will start drink it.

Golden rule....never buy a pet from someone who does it for a living as their life depends on the sale of the puppy and once sold it is a closed chapter. which breed are you looking for and why ? How would u know they are showing the correct pictures, most of the breeders will show u only fake parents as they dont want u to get in contact with the breeder so that u will know the actual price and comission :) I only breed rottweilers for 7 years now and i have friends who breed labs, golden and other breeds as a speciality and they do it for passion for the breed and not $$$ Thanks & Regards Lorven Pet Shop New BEL ROAD, Bangalore Shop Location > http://tinyurl.com/7rv87uk

nepal u can take anything.....they dont stop humans why would they stop dogs :) keep quarntaine certificate, vaccinations, health certificate from a govt hospital....they may ask bribe then u show all this and let u go

I am not a doc but have experience...of 10 years with dogs Few questions... Does your dog have ticks ? Check the temp with a thermometer and let me know. Give microdox ( 1 tab per 10kg body weight ) If it still doesnt eat then take to doc immediately as saline needs to be given.
