Dinkar Singh

Show it to a good vet. Generally there are medicines that can control it to a certain extent. At times its hereditary and is passed on by the parents. hence the importance of scanning the parents before buying any pup. I know this as one of my dogs did suffer from this and it is very sad to see dogs in this state. All The Best.

I am so sorry for you and your pup. =[

Dinkar Singh is correct. Take him to a vet as soon as you can. He will need to be on medicine for the rest of his life. It will not cure him, but will control his siezures.

Good luck

Man you have to take the fits very seriously, with each fit the dog brain gets damaged. You have to look for THE CAUSE OF THE FITS.before you think it is because of a BIRTH CONDITION you have to discard some other diseases like>

WORM INFESTATION
TOXOPLASMOSIS
NEOSPORA
LYME DISEASE
DISTEMPER

aNYWAYS while you look for the underlying cause of the fits you can administer an homeopathic remedy to prevent the fits like STRAMONIUM 30 C 5 DROPS EVERY 2 HOURS UNTIL FITS STOP AND THEN 5 DROPS IN MORNING AND 5 DROPS IN EVENING

IF THE HOMEOPATHIC REMEDY DOESNT WORK U CAN USE phenobarbital 1 pill daily

u might need to start thinking about doing blood test to determine the cause of fits

Golden rule....never buy a pet from someone who does it for a living as their life depends on the sale of the puppy and once sold it is a closed chapter. which breed are you looking for and why ? How would u know they are showing the correct pictures, most of the breeders will show u only fake parents as they dont want u to get in contact with the breeder so that u will know the actual price and comission :) I only breed rottweilers for 7 years now and i have friends who breed labs, golden and other breeds as a speciality and they do it for passion for the breed and not $$$ Thanks & Regards Lorven Pet Shop New BEL ROAD, Bangalore Shop Location > http://tinyurl.com/7rv87uk

I am not a doc but have experience...of 10 years with dogs Few questions... Does your dog have ticks ? Check the temp with a thermometer and let me know. Give microdox ( 1 tab per 10kg body weight ) If it still doesnt eat then take to doc immediately as saline needs to be given.
