Is it okay if I give my labrador puppy Royal Canin in the morning,?

Is it okay if I give my labrador puppy Royal Canin in the morning, Drools in the afternoon and home made non-veg food at night ?

Every commercial brand is prepared with it's own formula. Feeding two different brands may lead to stomach upsets in your dog. Try to keep your dog on RC as it's way better than Drools or Pedigree. You can feed him home-cooked items along with RC like eggs, curd, boneless chicken, cottage cheese, etc.
Keep an eye on his stools- it should be tight and light colored. Loose and dark stools can be the symptoms of stomach problem.

agree with navjot.. how old is the puppy? don't switch dog food brands but u can add home cooked food in his kibble.. make sure he doesn't fall into the habit of having home cooked meal in his food everytime

My Romeo is 70days old. He is currently feeding on Royal Canin Labrador Junior 33. Also home made food (little rice, boiled vegetables, one boiled egg, boneless chicken and chicken liver, thornless fish)

Also in between meals, he eats Cucumber sprinkled with cerelac, Spinach or cabbage sprinkled with cerelac, sometimes he takes curd and sometimes saltless butter milk, also cottage cheese suggested by Navjot, also pork sticks and some treats

I have one serious concern. Even though Romeo is 70days old and his biting spree has subsided quite a bit, but his house training is still pathetic. He does not pee or poop outside when taken out for walk, he controls it even for an hour or more. And immediately when he steps inside the house it doesn't take him more than half a min to get light. This is really becoming a botheration for us now. However we try he does not poop outside. And he pees and pees and cleaning it all, it has started to give back ache now. What to do ?

Most problems arise because of dogs being treated as furry human beings (known as anthropomorphism)Though long years of domestication has made dogs seem to enjoy what the master is eating, it is a fallacy to think that dogs require different foods or they will get bored as humans do.Canine digestion system is such that any change of diet needs to be adjusted to and causes problems as this adjustment takes 2-3 days. To avoid this, it is best to feed a dog the same food, meal after meal, day after day, year after year and at the most give some very limited snacks or scraps once in a way. Changing diets is not a good thing to do to keep the dog growing well and keeping it healthy - any commercial food is good and a quality one somewhat better - all dog foods are balanced specifically for canines, the only difference being the quality (or rather, source) of the protein that is used. The better quality dog foods use protein from good sources whereas the cheaper dog foods use protein from some poor sources not worth mentioning.
