Nitesh, you can feed home-cooked food like Chicken-rice, boiled eggs, curd. You can buy bone-less chicken consisting of chicken chest and liver and mix it with rice. Boiled eggs can be given. You can mix one boiled egg with 2-3 pieces of bread in breakfast. One boiled egg can also be mixed with chicken and rice in evening meal.
You can also give him vegetables. Before you add spices and salt into vegetables, just separate some vegetables for your dog.
Dogs have very few taste busters unlike human and thus they have very little sense of taste. The thing that drives our pet to eat is the smell of the food. Aroma of freshly cooked home cooked food will drive your dog more than anything. On the other hand, packed commercial food has standard smell of chicken which dogs often get bored and used to after a week or so. You might notice your dog refusing or eating reluctantly kibbles. Also, packed dog food is dumped with preservatives. You might have a healthy kibble eating dog with you but as he grows older they run high risk of getting succumbed to lung and kidney disorders. Thus, our advise would be to feed only home-cooked food.
Should you still feel the urge to feed commercial food, you can choose from the below brands which are said to be relatively better than others in the market: Eukanuba, Royal Canine, Taste of Wild and Canobites.
You can search on Net on the average height of Alsations. But, the height and weight usually depend on the pedigree of the given dog.

Also, German Shepherd are very prone to stomach upsets. So you can consider feeding some supplement which promotes digestion. One effective supplement I've tried is Venky's Gutwell. It can be used generally to avoid stomach issues.

Golden rule....never buy a pet from someone who does it for a living as their life depends on the sale of the puppy and once sold it is a closed chapter. which breed are you looking for and why ? How would u know they are showing the correct pictures, most of the breeders will show u only fake parents as they dont want u to get in contact with the breeder so that u will know the actual price and comission :) I only breed rottweilers for 7 years now and i have friends who breed labs, golden and other breeds as a speciality and they do it for passion for the breed and not $$$ Thanks & Regards Lorven Pet Shop New BEL ROAD, Bangalore Shop Location > http://tinyurl.com/7rv87uk

I am not a doc but have experience...of 10 years with dogs Few questions... Does your dog have ticks ? Check the temp with a thermometer and let me know. Give microdox ( 1 tab per 10kg body weight ) If it still doesnt eat then take to doc immediately as saline needs to be given.
