What's the best way to "score" an appointment from a KCI official, help?

What's the best way to "score" an appointment from a KCI official. I've tried calling Mukul Dev, but all attempts have gone in vain. Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with these offcials. Why's there so much red-typism in the registration? My friend's KCI papers are not in for 8 months now. Does anyone have any contact details of any KCI official whom one can contact realistically? No wrong numbers as I'm little pissed off with this entire process. Also, is there any process wherein this excessive red-typism can be reported anywhere? Am sure there must be a machinery wherein we can report this delay and seek prompt action.

go to the new website of the kennel club of india. you will find the telephone numbers of the kci in chennai. call them and discuss about the registration of the dog. May be they have not received it at the chennai office. May be the documents were not correct speak to the chennai office where u should have sent the papers and they will definately advise you on the status of the dog's papers. All the best.

Dinkar, first to all, nice to see you after a long interval. Hope you're fine. And, hope your venture into Cavalier Spaniels breeding is going on fine as well. Dinkar, the problem that I'm facing is am not able to get intouch with these people who'll give their opinion about my puppy who I want to register as from unregistered parentage. Its only after they attest the cetificate of opinion that I can send form 3 to the chennai office.
I've been able to find mukul vaid in facebook and have requested for appointment so am waiting for response.
Dinkar, I know you've been part of many shows in your life. A friend of mine has suggested to me that I should take the puppy directly to a KCI show and meet the judge, show the photos, get his approval and then send the form to Chennai office. Is this a right idea? My mind says, the judge will be busy in the show and will either ask me to waite till the end of the show or give oppointment some other day.

Hi. I am well thank you. I dont know where exactly you are located but since you have contacted Mukul Vaid I guess you are in the NCR region. There is a dog show on the 20th of November in Delhi and then one on the 25th of December in Gurgaon. My suggestion would be to contact the show organizers and ask them if it is possible to get a judge opinion on your dog during lunch break. Generally it can be done after lunch at the show just before the judging restarts.

I dont think that puppies can be registered with unknown parents. Your pet dog has to be a year old or so. Again it would be best to speak to the Chennai office and get all the fact rather than wasting your time going to the show with wrong paper work etc. The pictures too have to be from specific angles as far as I can recollect.

Most Judges unfortunately do not share their knowledge with other dog lovers which is a shame, and a pity that such people are made judges. They seem to keep their knowledge to themselves and or share it with their own close friends only. Kind of a dog mafia.... ha ha ha.

Frankly I do not see the need of registering your pet dog or puppy with kci unless he or she is a very good specimen and you plan to show it.

All The Best.

PS: Sharat Sharma is another judge based in Gurgaon and I think is judging at the Delhi show. You can may be speak to him on the 20th and fix an appointment for a later date at his residence if he agrees. Gurgaon Kennel Club - 04952722783, 09810260981, Delhi Kennel club - 09810110318

Samir, I posted this question on behalf of my friend who's trying to get his Yorkshire Terrier registered with KCI. It's England imported puppy with excellent pedigree. We're trying to get him registered but have found the entire registration system excessively bureaucratic. To personalise the question I used the term 'my puppy'.

Dinkar, the delhi dog show is now postponned. I'm little pissed off with the system. You are right, like any other Indian holding higher position in the society whether a politcian, or a bureaucrat, these officials are hypocrites and I don't intend to beg anymore before these 'bunch of assholes'.
Samir, neutering is on cards for my Labrador but I'm waiting for him to be fully grown.
Also, am not sure where you are from, but in Delhi even pet shops sell pups with KCI registered papers. Here, registered or unregistered puppy doesn't always underline the quality of the puppy. I've seen breeders with 0 infrastructure offering registered puppies, no matter how poorly they are bred out.

The system is all dog crap. I have been trying to sort out an issue with my pups papers but this is just going no where. The only thing i can do i guess is post about it so people be more careful while buying pups .

I got a pup from this breeder called Deepak Kamath in bangalore He calls his kennal home of coconut joe. Some more info about him ( http://www.facebook.com/groups /251459691266/1015039123299626 7/ ) . He was referred to me by a friend. The pups DOB: 5 June 2011 . After repeated phone calls and follow up for the papers . One fine day he sends the KCI papers to me with DOB 14 Aug 2011 .( 2 months difference ) i asked this breeder regarding the difference he just bluntly and arrogantly replied saying that this is what is there and it cant be changed. He has been ignoring my phone calls and emails ever since i have got this paper.I got the pup as i wanted a genuine pup with genuine papers. The breeder is now ignoring me .

I Called KCI several times these guys are just not ready to talk about this issue . The KCI administrator is either in a meeting or is not in his seat . These guys are just to make money here .
