The Reason

Hello,

This is a message to all Dobermann breeders in India as you can see by the title the reason, you may ask what do I mean it is this I have been breeding and showing Dobermann in the UK and Europe for more than 46 years I am always looking for new blood to inprove my dogs I have saw some very nice pups on this site but when I have enquired about the pups I do not receive a reply hence I would like to know do breeders in India not wish to sell to the UK or is there another reason all replies and contacts are welcome honest I do not bite.

welcome at DS. maybe you contacted some brokers. Please post the names here so that the Admin might ask them to reply to you. Sometimes requests from abroad seems fake, hence that might be the reason. India has some of the best Dobbies in the world. Hope you find your pup here

The quarantine rule are very stringent in UK. It is almost impossible to send a dog there. Once someone asked me for a mastiff from UK. But when I inquired some breeders in UK who import from other countries, I was told about the quarantine requirement. In India rabies is prevalent , whereas UK is Rabies free. Either Anti rabies antibody titer is needed whereas this facility is not available in India or the dog/pup will be withheld by Quarantine people in isolation for a prolonged period.
I think this may be the reason.

I really doubt whether our goverment has to permission to send pets to UK. the thing is UK goverment has the permission to send dogs to india ...but not vise versa.
If the dog has to sent to UK ...it has to first send to Singapore clear the quarentine and the dog has to stay atleast a month for the final clearance and then from singapore to UK...its quiet time taking as well as expensive.
