Dogs live their life to the fullest. They don’t live as long as we do but once they arrive on this land, they make sure they sniff, chew, bite, piss, poop, dig every single second they can. To honor these wonderful creatures, here’s a list of dogs that live the longest and like all other dogs, spread infinite love. 

10. Maltese


Average 15 years

These little balls of fur weigh in just three to four kilograms and happen to have an average life expectancy of about 15 years with the females expected to live a year longer.

9. Beagle

A cute eared beagle will be your best pal for 12 to 15 years. These pooches are very intelligent and even tempered and weigh in just a stone and a half and live a long life of around 15 which is equivalent to 76 years human years. The oldest Beagle on record passed away in Virginia, in 2009. The beagle, named Butch was 27 years old.
