Water Can Save My Life - Project Pyaas [Video]

With the scorching sun being the dominating element of the day, we are becoming overly cautious with our pet dogs, especially the breeds that cannot tolerate too much heat like the Bullmastiff or the Siberian Husky. A common advice and practice is of having fresh, cool water available at all times. Add to that most owners are willing to keep the air conditioning on for their dogs all day for them to stay comfortable.
But what of the poor street dogs who are subject to heat for most of their day with no evident shelter or water availability for most of them? Although they are less susceptible to heat stroke than pedigree breeds, it is still quite an uncomfortable feeling. Imagine yourselves wearing a winter coat and standing outside in 45 degrees Celsius.
With our intent to curb such a distressing climatic situation, we should do as much as we can to provide appropriate shelter and water to our neighbourhood street dogs. Dogspot is proud to support an enlightening initiative by Adopt a Pet called Project Pyaas. Here is a video to convince dog lovers towards the plight of many dogs around us.
Project Pyaas is essentially an awareness campaign to motivate everyone to keep water bowls with fresh water around their homes for the thirsty dogs and cats in the streets.
Please spread the word amongst your peers with a good heart.
