19 Oct 2017 | by | Posted in: Life with Dogs

With all the sweet boxes coming in for all the human-members, it shouldn't come as a surprise to us that the furr-balls would also want a fair share of treats. How about making Diwali, poochies favorite holiday by giving them their very own array of yummy treats.

Rigorous cleaning drills are keeping you all tied up? Presenting to you easy-peasy treat ideas that you can make without spending hours in kitchen.Amidst all the Diwali celebrations. You may still make it up for your pooches if you haven't already

  • Banana + Peanut Butter

Blend one ripe banana with 1/2 cup of unsalted, unsweetened peanut butter and a splash of water. Pour into a silicone mold, freeze, pop and enjoy! (We may sneak one or two for ourselves…)

  • Pureed Meat + Whole Wheat Flour

Puree your choice of meat (yum!) in a high-powered blender, then add in your choice of grain. Roll, cut, bake at 350. Put some meat puree between two cookies to make it a meat-sandwich.

  • Bananas + Oats

Three bananas, and 3 cups of oats. Peel the bananas and mash ’em up, toss in the oats and let them soak, then roll out onto a cookie sheet and bake at 225 degrees for 20 minutes. Flip, bake for another 20, then cut into bite-size pieces.

  • Apples + Greek Yogurt

Dice two apples, and remove the seeds and core. Throw in a high-powered blender with 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt, pour into ice cubes, freeze and serve.

  • Whole Wheat Flour + Pureed Baby Food

Pick a healthy meat-and-veggies baby food flavor to appeal to dogs. Mix, roll, cut, bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Done, there you have it!

Here's wishing all furry babies a very Happy Cracker Free Diwali!
