Zorro kept tied up outdoors for most of his life, now in foster care, needs a loving home. Tall but slightly underweight for his age (48 kgs) but otherwise healthy. Very needy for human attention. Aggressive towards other dogs and strangers but would probably adjust to company of a female dog. Needs large space to roam in and a cool room in summer. He is happiest working and living constantly beside his master. Good situation is a farm or orchard in cool climes. Used to living outdoors. Cannot be tied up. Hates to be kept alone for long periods. Needs a lot of loving, would be happiest if trained to behave calmly around people, he is very clingy, and socialised with other dogs. Aggressive if taken to the vet. Anyone who can devote the love and resources needed to care for such a dog will find their love amply rewarded with more devotion than they could ever imagine. He is truly mans best friend but you need to be patient, devote time to teach him your rules, he was abused, you must give him time to adjust to his new home. Too big to be around small children. Could be transported by car to a nearby state if needed. Beware, a st bernard is not for everybody, he has massive jaws and a bite could hurt. But his love will heal everything.
