Going through my daily dose of news on my usual websites, what struck me immediately was the name Bella, this fine afternoon. It wasn't any 'bella ragazza' from Rome but apparently is the oldest dog alive. This Bella is 26 years old. While reading this news article, I couldn't help drawing similarities between the claims about the oldest Bella and my sweet little pet dog Bella.
For convenience, I have called my little Bella as Bella A and the oldest one as Bella B.
Well I thought, three is a good number for the information I could gather about Bella B. It was coffee time at office and as usual I just need a reason to miss my Bella. I believe in signs in life. This was too much and too overwhelming a sign for me to interpret anything as yet.
In the meantime,
Now Bella B was bought by her owners when she was three years old. Well Bella A will be 3 years old this year in September.
Bella B is a Labrador cross, while Bella A is a cross between a Spitz and a Pomerian.
Bella B lives in London with her owners, well Bella A hasn't had the privilege yet to fly away from India, but she is remembered and missed in London almost everyday.

Maybe shares some genes with some japanese guys who live to very old ages on a diet of rice and sake. ;-)
