Rainy weather, cold winds and dreadful days are any pet parents nightmares. This is true especially when these weather conditions are a hindrance to all the fun activities that one can enjoy with their pooches. But there is good news for pet parents in Cardiff!

Cardiff, also known as Britain’s wettest city, opened its doors to the first indoor dog-walking park for all the pet parents and their pooches called Action Petz Park. On the first day of the opening, more than 600 pet parents joined the park that includes toys, tunnels, jumps, sleep areas, fly ball play zone and has created a natural environment for the dogs to run and play.

The first-of-its-kind park is the brainchild of pet parent Shelley Redding who converted a 20,000 sq. feet steel warehouse into a comfortable and safe surrounding where dog lovers can enjoy a walk, even if it is raining or getting dark outside. The fee is 30 pounds a month or 4.50 pounds for one time session. The park has been welcomed with a open arms and is already witnessing big success. The park also has plants, trees, benches and a lamp-post for the dogs that have love for one. The center is also regularly cleaned to maintain hygiene and avoid accidents.

We hope that similar parks are also opened up in other cities of the world where pet parents can happily take their pooches and have a good time together without worrying about the time of the day or the weather condition.
