Choosing a Right Puppy

Every dog is beautiful in his way , you have kids like labs, great protectors like rottie , super active dalmatians , playful pugs, huge mastiffs etc. There are lot of options to choose , and options are directly proportional to difficulties.

Here are some question that may help you take some decisions .

  • The first concern should be the place you will be able to provide the dog , ie., weather you reside in an apartment or in a house. Larger the bread larger will be the space required .
  • How much exercise can you provide them: All dogs need exercise some breeds like Doberman pinschers, Irish Setter, Newfoundland etc. need a lot of exercise, while dogs like pug, toy poodle, etc. need minimal exercise. while others like labs require some where in between.
  • The age of the handler and how active he is .
  • The type and amount of socialization the dog will attain . Some dogs like labs like to be with everyone , but dogs like rottie, pit bull they are very protective and don’t like to be with many people.
  • The size of dog , is again a big concern.
  • How much you will like do spend on a dog monthly?.
  • And lastly have you ever kept a dog before . its not just a dog that requires training for living with us , but we also require some knowledge for keeping them , like the amount of exercise , food , grooming socialization etc. needed by the dog .

I hope this will be of some help and you find the best companion for your family .
