Jumping is generally considered an unwanted and somehow irritable behavior,, and most dog owners go through the process of training it out of their dogs.
Similar to the behavior of licking, this behavior also comes from wolves, they usually sleep curled up together in packs. Dogs curl up with each other, too. Since you are your dog's best friend, family and everything more, it's only natural that they expect to be able to hop up on the bed and sleep up against you.
There are moments when we feel that our little fur ball smiled or giggled at us, but we are never really sure about the fact if they can really smile or not. A dog's smile can signal love and affection to an owner just as human smiles do.
Reason: Researches conducted on dogs has shown that dogs use many facial expressions in similar ways to how we do, reacting differently to loved ones and others.
5. Following you around
When your dog seems to shadow you wherever you go, it's just his social nature rearing its head. It doesn't really occur to your dog to seek out "alone time", they simply cannot comprehend the meaning of personal-space. It doesn't cross his mind to want to be apart from you. His devotion means that wherever you are, that's where he wants to be.
