7 ways to keep your home pet odor free

The never ending battle to scour your house squeaky clean is often combated with the age old question, What Is that Smell? Well, we're not saying it’s your dog, but then again, it could just be! Want to scrub the stench away? Read on to find out how.
1. Lemons

Does your pooch stink up every room with his business? And no, he doesn’t stop just there, does he? Do you discover more chewed up, half-eaten furniture every morning? Need a quick fix? Let’s use some lemons, shall we? The citric acid present in lemons, works miracles when it comes to neutralizing odors, in this case, what your sweet little doggie left behind. Lemon happens to be one of the stenches dogs repel, so if you want to keep your dog away from something, you know what to do!
2. Vinegar

Is your doggie dear, being a bit of a menace, turning the entire house upside down? Want to teach the little guy a lesson he won’t forget for some time to come? Spray vinegar all over. This not only leaves you with a fresher smelling house, but also keeps the pooch away from the things you, well want to keep him away from!
3. Baking Soda

Got a smelly dog that you are way too lazy to scrub? Consider yourself lucky if you’re reading this post. Give him a bath in some baking soda. No, I did not just punk you! This bath doesn’t require water! Just sprinkle some baking soda on that dog fur and whoosh, just like that the odor is gone. An alkaline powder by nature, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that baking soda can neutralize acid caused smells that emanate from pets.

Ever find your house smelling of, well, Dog? Can’t seem to find where on earth your pooch left you a little package? Fear,not comrades, we’ve got just the thing. Take a spray bottle and add to it some essential oils, about five drops of each along with two cups of water. Shake it all up together and spray that stench away.

If it doesn’t, however, what are you waiting for? Try the other six too! So just aerate the house, leave all the doors and windows open for a while, and if you’re in for a spot of luck, the wind might just blow all your worries away!
6. Potent Essential Oil Deodorizer

It’s time to bring on the big guns, guys! Got a nasty stain that’s just stinking up the whole place? We’re bringing in the heavy duty sprays, and trust me a little goes a long long way. You need a spray bottle, duh! Twenty drops of rosemary essential oil, eight of grapefruit oil and four of peppermint oil. Shake it all up and spray those big ones!
7. Doggie Wipes

Who said only babies required wipes? What, you didn’t know there was such a thing as doggie wipes? Well, neither did I, but here we are! Using these scented babies can leave your pooch smelling divine each time he, well, Goes.
