07 Sep 2016 | by | Posted in: Wag News

Things haven’t been going too well in the animal world. Adding to the terrible news is a death on another pup. The circumstances are worse than you could imagine it to be. There was a disturbing and heartbreaking discovery, which is currently being investigated by Provincial police in Norfolk County. The police discovered a floating pillowcase in Lake Erie of late at the Long Point Provincial Park. To our dismay, there was a dead dog inside the pillow case.

As per the police, they were contacted at 8:38 pm on Friday, 19th August 2016 by the staff at the park. The employees there discovered a dog in the pillowcase floating on the lake. Apparently, the pooch belongs to someone who was camping nearby the shore of the Lake Erie. It was certainly saddening to see the little pup dead inside. With reddish-brown fur, this medium sized dog took his last breath on the lake.

It is being a little difficult task for the police to find out the real culprit behind this hideous act. Hence, the police force is asking for public help. Anyone with any kind of information about this dog has been asked to call Norfolk County OPP detachment at 18883101122 right away.

It totally breaks our heart to hear such news. Animals can’t voice themselves, therefore, it is we who have to stand for them and support them. If you find any kind of cruelty to animals near you, don’t ever hesitate to contact the local police or Animal Rescue Centers.
