Dog lived in a Well for 4 years

10 Jun 2010 | by dinesh | Posted in: Wag News

I am Dinesh, an animal lover and I am running an animal welfare organization named as MRIGAPADHAM CHARITABLE TRUST. Last week we saved a dog from a 40 feet well. During the four years the dog was lived in the well. Attempts by the local people to save the dog had failed earlier. The well is in the compound of one Sainaba. When the dog fell in, the well had water. But it got dried up after some time. Sainaba used to throw food and water into the well and the dog survived for four years. Hearing the plight of the dog,the Mrigapadham Charitable Trust activists got on the spot and rescued the poor dog from the well. We adopt the dog and named him as Robin. Now he is in normal life.

Hi,
its really shocking to know that nobody in the vicinity did nothing to take that dog out. What about the municipal or the local vet or ppl doing about it. It took 4yrs for someone to pitch in and take the dog out, well its ridiculous. I believe if it was for a Breed / or any other top class breed im sure ppl would have run pillar to post to get it out.. since i believe its a indian breed they left it to die, Thats sad. However good job from your team to have rescured that dog.. 4yrs is not something easy to digest..Dog is lucky to have seen god, how else can i describe that its living with good health..
