Sometimes, humans tend to do so much for their pets that make us restore faith in humanity instantly. Recently, a man saved his dog and mother before saving himself from his narrowboat. However, the saddest part of this incident is that the man died after saving the two. The man went back into the boat to bring back the items, and couldn’t get out because of the filled water. The paramedics tried their level best to save Mr Green, unfortunately, he took his last breathe at the scene.

The woman and her dog got off the narrowboat uninjured. Jamers Cowlishaw, the volunteer lock keeper stated that “He went past on his boat, we passed the time of day and he went off into the distance and we caught him up in those terrible circumstances. There was an air gap at the top but we had no response when we were knocking the top of the boat which was worrying. I tried to get in the front but it was rammed with bedding and furniture which was floating about in there. The emergency services took over and eventually found him. We can't understand how he got in the trouble he did.”

As soon as the witness saw the trouble, he called up an ambulance immediately. It was a saddening incident. However, a man sacrificing his life to save a woman and a dog is the greatest humanly act one can witness in today’s time.

May his soul rest in peace.
