Flair - The Golden Retriever, who taught me the meaning of true loveWe got Flair home in 2004 as a healthy bouncing 3.5 month old puppy. I got her from a Dog Lover who had mated their Golden Retriever mother for a 8 pup litter. The mother was very well brought up and the pups well looked after so I had no hesitation to pay the Rs 5000/- which the owner wanted for the female pup. It did not matter to me whether the pup was male or female. Me and my then 8 year old daughter selected the first pup who ran into our arms. Thats it. It was love at first sight. For our family of four, she was like a gift from heaven. My son was 3 years old at that time and Flair was a happy addition to our family. Over the years, she went from a hyper-active puppy to a mature and loving care giver for the family. My wife was not too happy with my decision to bring Flair home without any notice, but over the coming years she grew to love Flair and worry endlessly for her when we would have to leave her briefly during trips. I lost my wife in 2013 to a sudden illness while she was still very young. Flair was the first to notice that something was very wrong with her. Flair was 9 years at that time. She also died exactly a year later to a tumour which has developed rapidly and left our family in shambles. It has been 3 years since then and I had decided that no one could ever take her place in our home. My parents have moved in with me to help me put my family back on track. But something seems to be missing. I feel that only a pure and loving heart of a dog would be able to put things back together again. I am looking for another Golden Retriever Pup, preferably female. And who knows, maybe Flair is looking to come back to our family to fill it once again with love and joy. Please contact me on or call @ 9900204491
