dog takes bullet

Every year US citizens from different walks of life lose their life to radical and irrational individuals, who resolve to violence rather than peace to prove their point. In one such incident, a dog lost its life to save his beloved family from a shooter.

On Friday, in a road rage incident outside an Atlanta strip mall, a driver of a Ford Taurus got into an argument with Hobart Austin, after he nearly hit Austin’s vehicle. Post the argument, the driver followed Austin into the mall and threatened to open fire. The bullets did not injure Austin but hit a Chevrolet Suburban car that was parked in the lot. The car was occupied by a woman, her three children and her dog named Noah. On sensing danger, Noah jumped in front of the children and was struck by the bullet. The family was unharmed in the shooting, but unfortunately Noah could not be provided with immediate medical assistance and lost his life. The lady in the car and her children are proud of Noah and thankful for saving their life without thinking one bit of his own safety.

We at salute Noah for his heroic deed. Indeed, dogs love unconditionally and for them, their family and its well-being is of utmost importance. Rest in peace Noah!
