Not everyone is a dog lover. There could be certain people who are afraid of dogs and just like to see them around. One such person is the famous comedian Johnny Lever. Johnny got the chills when he was asked to share a screen space with a Golden Retriever called Entertainment.

He was asked to act as if he knew the Golden Retriever since ages whereas he had only known him since two months. “They asked  me to act as if I knew the dog for ages, when I had  known him only for lesser time, says Johnny with a laugh. “The whole shooting revolved around the dog. We paused the shooting every time he did not have the mood or was tired,” he said.

It was once during the shooting when the dog was chewing on bones and he accidently bit Johnny. He seemed to be really tensed but was relieved when they suggested him to not take an injection. Johnny also revealed his childhood fear of dogs when he had gone through a similar experience and had to take injections for the same. The fear had not left him since childhood and he had been smitten by that incident.

However, Johnny is very happy on sharing screen space with the canine and says that he has God-gifted expressions. He is playing the role of a caretaker in the movie and says it is one of his favorite roles. He is happy working along Akshay, Mithun  Chakraborty, Prakash Raj and Tamannah. This movie is a comedy and revolves around the dog. “I have done around 400 films in my career, and I would call my  role in this movie the best so far. It’s a very different and strong  role,” he says. And it is these kind of roles that Johnny is looking  forward to. “I have become very choosy now. I have become tired doing  the same old thing repeatedly. So nowadays I only accept movies which  offer a unique role,” he says. Johnny along with this will also be seen in Santa Banta and a yet-to-be titled project. Along with this he is also planning to getting back to stand up comedy where he started his career. He says that he is always glad to see the response of the people as he keeps in mind the Indian Culture when he does stand up comedy.
