Be it the famous tale of Hachiko the most loyal dog who waited for his master at the railway station waiting for him to return even after his demise, dogs have always displayed a sense of utmost loyalty in every spheres of life.
Here is another tale of dog’s unconditional affection where the dog where the dog refused to leave the grave of his 18 year old friend who died in an accident and was buried. The dog did not move from the spot for a fortnight. The brown mongrel went without food, survived the sun and rain, but refused to move in an extraordinary display of love, loyalty and affection.
He was spotted by the Blue Cross Of India volunteers near the grave in Chennai close to the Avadi Bridge. The Volunteers also mentioned that he refused to move from there and growled and whined near the grave and stubbornly sat down there resisting any sort of movement.
The local residents then told the Blue Cross of India that the dog belonged to Bhaskar who was an 18 year old and died after a speeding vehicle hit him.
Such stories of love and affection displayed by dogs for their owners moves people. I, as a writer thrive to cover such heartwarming stories. It makes me sad but also very proud of how dogs are more loyal than any human being.
