How old is the dog and what breed.....it is better to take a flight which allows dogs in the cabin that is if they are small, but I dout it if domestic airlines allow it. Otherwise check if the cargo hold where they put the dog is pressurized or not. It is better to take a flight which has a pressurized cargo if the dog is going to be there.

Also speak to your vet, a good one if something can be given to your dog to calm him down and so that he or she does not stress. All the best!!

Hi Jahnavi, as far as I know, no low cost carrier permits the carriage of live animals in the hold. Only Indian Airlines and Jet Airways permit this and maybe Kingfisher too.
