what care should be taken while female Beagle is in season (Period or Heat)

I have a one year old Labrador boy. He has been diagnosed with patellar luxation in both his hind legs. For the past three days, he is not eating properly and seems like has gone into depression. The vet has advised surgery but only in Ludhiana. Can someone suggest a place where i can get a brace till the time i get the surgery done.

Make her wear a diaper that will help you not to stain in all the house. Take her to walk when the road is empty and dog generally not available on the road. Do take care of her drinking and eating. Do not leave her alone with any male dog. The female scent attracts the male dog. You can use heat spray which helps in avoiding male dog following on the road when taken for the walk.
