My 1.5 year golden retriever doesn't bark, i want to make him aggressive, help?

My 1.5 year golden retriever doesn't bark and even if anyone passing by the road whistles him or calls him his attention is towards them and he wants to go to them and just becomes hard to handle.i don't want him to go to other people and dogs even if they call him. And he should bark if someone calls him.he doesn't do it at all.please tell me how to handle this situation because many people do it and they just get to know that he is very friendly. in short i want to make him aggressive so that people are a bit scared for calling him. please take me out of this situation.

even my friend have a golden retriever and it will also behave just like ur dog but during nite it will not allow any one even to stand in front of his house
k and if ur from Hyderabad then i advice u to go for commando dogs which is top 5 in ap for training dog and i am sure no one will even dare to call ur dog

It all depends on how you raise the dog. You don't chain your dog, you have allowed him to socialise with other people and animals. As a result of this, your dog is confident and curious. When he runs after someone, he is not trying to run away from you, he wants to explore that person. He will sniff and will come back. He may also be friendly because when somebody comes on your door, you greet them. Your dog learns from that and he also understands that not every stranger is hostile. That's the reason why he doesn't bark on them.
On the other hand, if an owner chain his dog all day, doesn't allow him to know his surroundings, the dog is most likely to feel insecure and he may bark all day on almost everyone passing by. Such dogs can even be dangerous as well.

He should enjoy this moment with your dog. And remember, he is an animal and a companion, NOT A LOADED GUN.
