My 4 months old german shepherd puppy has been diagnosed with sarcopteic mange.help?

My 4 months old german shepherd puppy has been diagnosed with sarcopteic mange. am giving him bath with petben shampoo followed by RIDD application EVERY 6 DAYS. He is also on oral ivermectin. He has been on treatment for almost three weeks now but the conditon doesnt seem to abate. My vet says that there are possible sources in the house that keep affecting him. Can any one suggest what chemical should be used to clean the house that would totally get rid of this pesky ugly mite. He has lost a lot of weight and doesnt seem to show interest in eating altogether. AM REQUESTING EARNEST FOR URGENT HELP!! PLEASE....

Skin problems can take a good time to be fully treated. It's important you continue to follow the instructions given by your vet. Please continue to provide the medication subscribed by the vet.
If your dog is not eating well. This can be altogether a different problem, not necessarily relating to skin. Please check for de-worming of your vet. Since, your dogs is undergoing medical treatment, there are chances his liver is getting weak a and that's why low appetite.
You can feed him variety of liver supplements available in the market. The one I use is Liv52 as it's available in tablet form and you can simply put it into the throat of the dog.
You should show the dog to the vet regularly. Try to feed him good home-made food like chicken breast, chicken liver mixed in rice, eggs, roti, curd, etc.

Hi friend the first thing which you have to do is relax and then find out what are the things that are triggering the skin issues in your dog....... I will like to tell you many dogs including mine are allergic to the floor cleaners we use so i use salt water ,,,a salt water is the best floor cleaner as it is anti allergic, antibiotic etc... you can also provide daily sponging with the raw salt(without Iodine) and water daily .....morning sunlight from 6:00 am to 8:00 am is good for dog hair you can also tie him in a corner where he can get the morning sunlight and throw is loving food but it should not be in his eating range let him rub his nails on the floor it also helps the dog to get rid of skin infections,,,,,tea without sugar, nutritive soya bean raw or soya atta is good for hairs and skin with dog.....get his blood and skin tested if still you face problem with the skin...also do check the food too.....you can prepare a good home food like rice, dal some vegetables some meat and bone and yes include raw egg this will also help and give him fish oil which you can get from the local fish seller it seriously works man................
