How to stop unnecessary barking of my 4 months old labrador?

My 4 months old lab is starring at the wall and barking continuously. Also when no one is around him,he barks. I had a Surgery in my leg last week and it takes a month to get back to normal and play with him.He is in chain now all the day and off chain only in nights. I can't take him for a walk and he is going for a small walk with my mom in the evening. Is it K to b in chain all the day and y is he barking and starring at the wall, afraid??

Dude you need to understand few rules when you own a dog. First they are dogs, they have a great hearing & sense smell as compare to us it means a small vibration through traffic or your neighbor TV volume or water movements in pipe in the wall can be listen or feel by them. As a pup he's gonna react. so its ok for them to bark & freak out. Now the crucial problem is the second one. Don,t tie him in chain for too long because it make him angry, frustrated & moody. because in night he has no companion to see or play. Let him roam around in your house, it make him understand his area and responsibilities. Dont tie his spirit with chains because in this age they are full of spark. Best wishes for your health.
