What are the best remedies available to control tick infection?

My 5 year old Labrador bitch and her 2 pups (2months old) are heavily infested with ticks (I was out of town for a week so the mother dog was allowed to wander outside our house unsupervised), the pups have bunches of ticks even in their ears, I have tried notix powder over the past one week with minimal results, any medication suggested ? I visited the vet and he suggested a shampoo which has been ineffective since the ticks are in the pups ears..please help, I am desperate.

spray the female with FREEDOME. its a spray from Pfizer and said to be very good. Sweep the room with Botox solution and also spray it on the walls. HTH..
In diet you can add garlic cloves. just 2/3 of it. it also acts good from within the body.

As for the female,if notix is not helping, try bathing her with Balfo Shampoo (Bayer) n rub in balfo powder. If it doesn't help, after bathing her wash her with Ridd mixed in water. This should help..it has helped me n have repeated it within a week. But if it doesn't take her to vet asap..maybe he'l give Ivermectine shot.

As for pups, cant say as they are too young. Talk to a vet asap.
