My 8 years old healthy Labrador is down with Wheezing,Dry Cough. Please help?

My 8 years old healthy Labrador is down with Wheezing,Dry Cough accompanied by episodes of fainting ( syncope and not seizure !) . Fainting has been there occasionally but wheezing, gagging and breathing discomfort has increased over the last 2 months or so ! Vet feels its acidity, reflux related and has prescribed ; Pantaprazole,Augmentin 625 and PPF! Eating healthy but at times declining and activity has come down, may be due to hot and humid conditions these days ! Breathing difficulty is seen with belly heaving, elbows sticking out, head down stretching ahead and gagging as if trying to throw out! Please help.

These could be the signs of canine distemper. You better get your dog checked for CDV as soon as possible as these were the signs that my dog showed up and the vets never got the CDV diagnosis done, as a result of which i lost my 3 months old pup. Though i hope it comes out to be no such thing, but just to be on safer side, you must get it done as soon as possible as it is only curable if detected early.
