DEAR SONIA,

AS FAR AS HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE THERE IS NO SIDE EFFECTS. YOU CAN GIVE THIS MEDICINE ACCORDING TO DOG WEIGHT. BUT, BEFORE THAT YOU WILL HAVE FIND OUT THE REASON FOR, WHAT EVER THE CHANGES TAKES PLACE ON DOG. ROUTINE DE WORMING, REAGULAR EXERCISE WITH WALKING WILL SOLVE THIS PROBLEM EASILY.
WITH REGARDS,

If ur dog does not eat leave the food for about 1/2hr and then remove it. generally after a day of fasting it will be fine. Do not feed inbetween meals and feed a good dog food, with a little suppliment if required as per your vets advice. Generally if a dog looks good and is active everything is ok. You must also deworm your dog regularly, again as per your vets advice. The deworming tablets are for 10kg of body weight of a pup.

What is your Rottweiler a male or a female. If you cannot see ur dogs ribs but can feel it then it should be in good shape and weight. It is better to keep a young dog like yours lean rather than fat as it still has time to mature and fill out which can take upto 3 yrs. Generally males try to assert themselves or challenge the owners/ family to see who is the boss and or go up the pecking order. This happens at various stages of the pup growing up. Not so in females but can happen. Just reinforce what you have taught ur dog and all should be fine (hope u have done basic obedience). No spoiling or hitting but being firm when required. Hope the above is of help to you.

Keep watching your dog for dominance nature. You might not notice, but some of the naughty behavior are also sign of dominance. Like he will force you or beg you to play and if you will do that... you are promoting a dominance character in the form of submission. Watch and read on internet there are too many tips and tricks. When have a Rotti you wont like to have a big dog like Rottweiler with a dominance aggressive attitude. Hope you will keep that in mind. Give him an off leash training... Nothing is cruel than a leash... Good luck :)
