even my Gsd 2yrs now doesnot lift leg to pee
i dont feel there is anything wrong

if u take the dog out every day for sometime, it will start territorial markings. my dog never did it but when i started to take him out everyday, he started it after say....2 months

It depends on the dog. If your dog is more of a dominant male, he will start earlier. If he is more submissive, it will take longer.

My male doberman started around 5 months old. My sister's male boxer didn't start lifting his leg until nearly a year old.
