Can anybody give me information on transporting my 8 year old boxer dog?

Can anybody give me information on transporting my 8 year old boxer dog from Mumbai to Dubai or Abu Dhabi (UAE). UAE law requires that live animals be shipped as cargo, however because boxers are a snub nosed breed, lots of airlines are not accepting him for travel. Emirates airlines does not, Air India doesn't either, or so an agent tells me. Does anybody have any info on how this can be achieved. I am aware of all import requirements in terms of vaccinations, micro chipping etc, it's just that I am not able to find an airline that will take boxers. Anybody with prior experience with taking Boxers to Dubai or Abu Dhabi?? Would appreciate the info. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your input. I haven't approached dkc yet, but I guess I will in the next few days to check. Thing is, the places I have approached over here are all okay to take care of the UAE side of things, but need me to find an agent or arrange for the Mumbai side of things (export procedure) myself, which is what I am currently stuck on. Perhaps dkc has its own resources in Mumbai. Heres hoping.

Contact the Animal Husbandry Dept in Mumbai. Meet the Director and he will issue a Quarantine Cert based upon the vaccination details. I guess this will be the Document needed. Without this Canines are not allowed to board. Nothing else is needed from India.

Thanks. I am aware of the medical requirements, and that is almost sorted. It's just that I am currently stuck on finding an airline (that flies to Dubai or Abu Dhabi) that will take boxers.

Try if KLM is available. Either from Mumbai or Singapore/Hong Kong route. They are the best pet friendly airlines in the world.
