I bought a 22 day old labrador pup male Its been more than 24 hrs but it didn't do potty, please help?

HI I bought a 22 day old labrador pup male. I purchased it yesterday from a pup breeder. Its been more than 24 hrs but it didn't do potty. Urine is normal. I am feeding it with cerelac 4 times a day. Is it normal or should I get in touch with a VET.

na its common just dont feed her more if she dont wanna eat i mean dont force stop feeding cerelac and buy something which is made for dogs like cerelac for kids SAMOLAC pups will love it its not costly at all if you want even good abit costly tough try LACTOL i advice samolac its better than cerelac

Firstly i dont understand why u purchase a puppy less than 40 days. Its a high risk of life of puppy. If u r a first time owner than you should follow a diet schedule referred by the vet. Dont give anything without advise of vet esp. that is common for human baby.

Deworm the dog...give nemocid 1 ml and that would take care.

Whenever you purchase a puppy/dog of any age the first thing you do before bringing it home is to visit the vet so he can perform a full check up. Even if he does go potty i advise you to take him to the vet anyway to get him checked up.

What is done is done. The best option for the general benefit of the pup wud be that you leave it back with the mother for another 25 plus days and then go pick it up. Request the breeder. In the meantime do research on keeping a dog/ pup and what all u need to do etc for the next 10 plus yrs.

Agree with Dinkar . The pup will develop immunity if it is fed with mother's milk. Later you can give her Royal Canin puppy milk. It is very good. I gave my 40 day old GSD the same and it showed good result.

Hi Rajat, I hope everything is fine with your puppy now, I gave my puppy with small amount of smashed Papaya with Royal Canine puppy milk when I faced this issue,.. Vet said it happence when puppy switches from Mother's milk to other food for the first time.
